Every year, Spectos conducts a nationwide survey as part of the Mailbox Monitor, focusing on the consumer perspective. The questions relate to the importance of mailboxes and posted mail and the effect of addressed and unaddressed advertising mail on consumers. In addition, the results can be used to make statements about digital and analog media and preferences for mailbox-ready merchandise. The detailed responses provide postal service providers and mailers with important information. This includes impressions on requirements, service expectations and trends for postal items as well as print media from the consumer’s point of view.
