Spectos is a member of the world’s largest and most important initiative for responsible corporate governance, the UN Global Compact. The certification means a lot to us – because it is regarded as official recognition of our social, responsible and sustainable orientation. Spectos Sustainability Strategy
Our goal is sustainable and responsible action and management. We strive to continuously increase the efficiency of our processes and procedures as well as their sustainability in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility. The sustainability strategy of Spectos is based on globally uniform codes and standards.
As a company and a member of the Global Compact, we assume responsibility in the areas of human rights, labour standards and environmental protection, thus making a public commitment to support sustainability.
The creation of a Balanced Score Card, in which important key figures in terms of sustainability are implemented, helps us to control our processes, monitor the achievement of goals and, if necessary, derive measures from this. We consider business and financial key figures, key figures from the areas of environment & sustainability as well as project management and sales as well as human resources.
We use various methods and instruments to measure and evaluate our corporate sustainability. This enables us to exert a decisive influence on our business activities and products and to take a holistic view of services. In this way, we create an essential basis for business decisions and communication with all stakeholders.
Our internal company guidelines and efficiently designed processes constantly remind our employees and signal as an employer that sustainability counts and that the associated tasks are important. As a team, we thus not only contribute to environmental protection and occupational safety, but also reduce resources and costs.
Sustainable and Fair Business Right From the Start
We at Spectos have made the fundamental decision in the company management not to tolerate corruption throughout the company's activity – also along the entire supply chain – and to take preventive action against it. This fundamental decision is integrated in our strategy.
The management and executives of Spectos GmbH also have a role model function in the implementation of and compliance with this directive. In order to protect every employee and Spectos GmbH, business decisions, benefits of any kind, the initiation of business relationships and critical activities must follow the principle of transparency and the dual control principle.
All employees have a duty to report any violation or suspected violation of law in connection with the “Code of Conduct” of this “Anti-Corruption Policy”. This is not intended to create a culture of mistrust. However, in order to protect the company as a whole, it is necessary to report serious violations in order to be able to take necessary action. In order to control, manage and minimize the risk of corruption, we follow these guidelines in order to prevent:
- Bribery, corruptibility and corruption
- Corruption in dealing with representatives and consultants
- Corruption in dealing with donations and sponsoring
