In the healthcare sector, the use of surveys provides valuable information about the service quality of hospitals. However, experts differ in viewpoint about the added value and frequency of patient interviews for quality management.

Additionally, a lack of time and acceptance among employees means that the benefits or added value of these surveys are poorly valued in the everyday operation of a clinic or hospital.
